New Guitar Warranty
New Guitars purchased by the ORIGINAL PURCHASER from Fret City are warrantied for a period of 1 year (one year) from date of original shipment. Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, normal adjustments, strings, shipping damage, or customer damage is not covered. Fret City is not responsible for any other costs or liability outside of direct replacement or repair of defective components. Damage or instrument warping due to temperature or humidity extremes is not covered. Customer is responsible for providing suitable environmental conditions for instruments. For Acoustic guitars, a humidity level of 45% to 50% is required. Customer's with warranty requests must make a written request within the warranty period, and include a detailed description of the problem. Warranty service is return to depot, and transportation costs to our Depot is the sole responsibility of the customer. Fret City may repair or replace products at our discretion. In addition, Fret City may provide user-replaceable components and instructions for self repair by customer if feasible. Fret City is not responsible for setup of a guitar after warranty parts have been installed by customer or customer's agent. Fret City is not responsible for payment of adjustments or repairs not pre-authorized by Fret City Music. NOTE : A Return Authorization number is required prior to shipping your Guitar to us for any reason.
Vintage, Used and Demo Guitar Warranty
Vintage / used and demo instruments purchased by the ORIGINAL PURCHASER from Fret City are warrantied for a period of 30 days from date of purchase. Fret City only warrants the originality and condition of vintage / used instruments as described. A signed Certificate of Originality is provided with all Vintage Instruments. Before deciding to purchase any Vintage Instrument, buyers should clearly understand that all used and vintage instruments have imperfections from past usage, including play wear, scratches, dents, worn and tarnished parts. These imperfections are not warranted in any way by Fret City. Adjustments to suit personal preferences are not included in the purchase price.

10 - (MC) : Mint Condition - As new, out of box
9 - (EC) : Excellent Condition - Very clean, minor scratches, small dings, minor play wear
8 - (VGC) : Very Good Condition - Clean, pick scratches, moderate wear, no cracks, paint chips
7 - (GC) : Good Condition - Good playing condition, finish checking, cosmetic flaws, moderate wear, rust
6 - (FC) : Fair Condition - Playable, cracks, heavy wear
5 - (PC) : Poor Condition - Requires repairs to bring into playable condition, missing parts
Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return policy for customers on any purchase. Should you wish to return a product for credit or exchange, please contact Fret City at our main address (shown on the top right hand corner of each web page) and request a Return Authorization Number. Returns are at customer's expense, and credit will be issued using the same method as the original payment. Product must be in new and re-saleable condition and include all accessories. Credit will be issued for the original product value plus tax (excluding original shipping costs and Paypal fees if applicable). EXCEPTION : If incorrect product is shipped, Fret City will pay for freight both ways. |
